In a moving ceremony on May 28, 2008 at Jason Field on the Garden Grove High School campus, the Michael A. Monsoor Freedom Memorial was dedicated. The Memorial honors 24 Argonauts who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in our Nation’s Armed Forces, giving their lives in time of War. The Memorial’s permanent home is in the Argonaut Hall of Fame and Museum located on campus in Heritage Hall. It is flanked by a United States Flag which has flown over the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. and a California State Flag which has flown over the State Capital in Sacramento.
